MotoSat 1000.2
We have the MotoSat 1000.2, receiving Dish satelites 110, 119 & 129. On the plus side, it works like a champ, assuming no obstructions. Installation on our Classic 30, not bad but time consuming. We mounted our dish receiver and Nomad 2 in the overhead cabinet closest to the refrig. However, that location does cause overheating at times (lack of air flow within cabinet - so I resorted to a miny fan for resolution).
As for the cons; a) pricey, b) on my 30', it required me fabricating an alu bracket for the unit as there was lack of space and 3) you have to stay abreast of MotoSat software updates. We store our AS inside during winter months and upon getting it out in the spring, have to download the latest updates to an SD card and using an optional gizmo from MotoSat load it into the Nomad 2. Not really a problem, but if you don't
check their website for updates, you could find yourself w/o sat tv. My experience with their tech service has been positive. All in all, it works great, but like all electronics there's always updates. Hopefully the comments aren't too late.
