The only practical plan for most people on the cellular networks is the $80 per month "unlimited use" plan.

Unlimited Broadband INternet $67/mo. Verizon

I've completed a series of road tests on the Verizon Broadband 1x network and am pleased with the service. We use an external antenna and have had great results. Verizon provided free PCMCIA "aircards" and static IP addresses. The speed is as good as cable or DSL, and coverage has been very extensive - even where no voice service was available. Verizon calls it the National Broadband access plan. Streaming audio works fine, but streaming video sometimes is a challenge. $67./ month, unlimited usage, ISP service only, no email or website space.

Here is a cheaper solution for those that like the internet in motion system, but find it to be too expensive:

http://www.evdoinfo.com/EVDO_Product...i_20050427264/

It's a Kyocera EVDO Router with a WiFI AP. Of course, you will probably want to add an external antenna to increase signal to the EVDO card.
