Question Feed wires for Satellite roof mount

On a 30' Classic, where would the feed wires be located to connect to a roof mount satellite? Factory installed on the roof is the A/C, 2 solar panels, 2 skylights and 2 fans. I am considering a MotoSat HD Univ roof mount satelitte and would greatly appreciate any feedback for this procedure. Thanks again,

Larry - I may not fully understand your question, but if you mean the wiring bundle from the sat dish to inside the trailer & your "decoder" box & TV, my wiring runs into the trailer inside the fridge vent, then thru the wall & into the overhead storage bins above my dinette & horizontally into the overhead storage above my credenza. The installer ran the wiring from the sat decoder box thru the wall & down to the trailer's wiring inside the credenza, then to the TV. For my floorplan (30' Classic w/ dinette), this worked perfectly.

It seems like you have your heart set on a roof mount antenna and I sure don't want to talk you out of it.

But, you might want to allow a provision in your system to allow you to use a remote antenna for those instances where your campsite location blocks your roof antenna's satellite view.

A simple ground or tripod mount may well save the day as you can usually get a clear view by moving the antenna around your rig. I have 75' of RG6 cable on a plastic hose reel and I have yet to be defeated (although I have utilized a variety of unsavory adjectives on accasion...).

Many thanks for the info. I'm looking to install a roof mount sat and don't want a tacky set-up. Today, I'll be checking available roof space and follow thorugh with your helpful infomation. Again, thank you,
