Two weeks ago I updated to a Dish Wally satellite receiver and a Dish (Winegard) satellite antenna. Both worked great until yesterday. Moved locations and attempted to set up the receiver and antenna. To make a long story short I could receive sound but not the picture. Contacted Dish and after several minutes with the tech was told that the problem was with the antenna and was given the Winegard tech phone number. Using the phone number ended up being a waist of time. Long wait times due heavy call volume and the message said to left name and phone number and I would receive a phone call back. That was at 8:30 am and no return call after five hours. Went to the Winegard website and emailed support services. After several emails was informed that there is a problem with the software between the Wally and the Winegard antenna. The email from the Winegard tech suggested that I find a ViP 211Z until the software problem is fixed. Winegard does not have an anticipated software fix date. So just be aware before you decide to buy the Dish Wally satellite receiver.
