Dish Tailgater Hook Up - 2017 Classic

Does anyone know where the interior coax jack is located to plug into from the Dish network receiver? The cable is attached to the exterior of the coach from the Tailgater but cannot find the connection on the interior to run to the receiver?

In the cabinet channel below the blue ray player on my 2016. I also bought a splitter for connection purposes. I love the tailgater!

The blu ray player can be slid out of the fixture it is in or the entire fixture removed. Cable is usually tucked behind it. Only held in place with industrial loop and pile fastener.

As stated above, that cable is below the white box that holds the blue ray. Four screws hold it in place, remove them & prop the white box (cabinet) up. the blue ray in attached to a small box laying there, also attached are your two Television cables. That splitter box needs to be replaced with a two splitter box so the blue ray AND your cable line can be attached, When finished that splitter box will have a total of 4 cables running to it, your two TV's, blue ray & dish cable. It's important that the new splitter has either automatic switching from blue ray to dish or a remote to do it manually otherwise every time you switch between this two devices you'll have to remove the four screws etc.

This is great information. Why on earth would Airstream not have this co ax port already exposed for instant hook up given how many people use portable satellites such as the Dish tailgater? Curt.

The cable should be long enough to connect to your receiver and most folks put the receiver on top of the DVD player. Putting a plate on the wall isn't a bad idea. But can you hear the complaints about "What was AS thinking. Where the heck am I going to find an 8" piece of coax!#!@#$!!!!" Can't win for trying...
