directv in 92 landyacht 36 motorhome

have had directv in home and at park model trailer for 15 years,,,love it ,,it works great
after reading forum,,,bought directv disaster readiness kit to use in motorhome
am i better to leave existing cable tv alone and run new rg6 from tvs to dish????
what is best way to run cable in a 1992????

Run a new wire because you original is most likely #5 and will give you a green ghost on one side of faces.

I installed this connector just below the cabinet my tv sits on and up through the insides of the cabinet.

i want to know more about direct t.v. disaster readiness kit
i just suffered a disaster...my home / cabin burned down and
i am going to be living in the land yacht m.h. with no "roof" to
attach satellite dishes to, how can i re-connect with my direct
t.v. and satellite internet (wild blue) dishes?

just received direct tv disaster readiness kit fed ex friday!!!
went on directv internet site,,,wasted 30 minutes trying to find it,,,,gave up ,,,called directv,,,,asked girl why the f--- i couldn't find it,,
even though the part number in big type on the box is DRK something and it says in big letters DISASTER READINESS KIT !!! it is known as the disaster readiness kit to every breathing human being on earth and some animals except for the select few employed by directv inc

so.....ask for it from the " temporary setup equipment " menu

with next day fedex it costs $89 and includes tripod , cable , dual lnb

i got a back a message from DTV which led to a site which showed dome models (KVH?) for $1299--this is WAY diff from $89--will try again. Laurel
