Anyone currently using T-Mobile for streaming?

Iíve see older posts about it but seems to be a lot of advertising now about it. Att and Verizon are too expensive for unlimited but T-Mobile is advertising unlimited for $70. I know about coverage but canít see all the $$$ the others want. How is it working for those that currently have it.

What do you want internet for?

AFAIK no cell provider provides true unlimited, unthrottled internet regardless of price. And coverage will always vary, but most certainly will be worse outside large urban areas, and unless you want to camp in or very near a city, your cell data will be spotty.

So, what do you need all that data for?

If you want to watch movies, you will have a much better viewing experience watching from connected media (hard drive, DVR, DVD, TiVo,) or cable/satellite/over-the-air antenna. Watching movies over a cellular connection is the most tenuous way currently, and you will be likely be frustrated with the quality you get for the $$ you pay.

If, on the other hand, you need the data to work remotely, you will fare much better, as the data can be sent in packets asynchronously as the signal connection allows.

I never wanted to balance my checkbook on my TV set, why do people want to watch movies on their computers?

Technology exists to let you watch movies on big screens. It works well. It is inexpensive. It is compact. You can watch what you want, when you want, with no interruptions or degradation of quality. It does not involve the internet, and is, in fact, much, much cheaper.
