Maybe a call to Airstream before you start. I would think extra coax would be run along the street wall from where the dual exterior input is located. Looked at a photo of a Serenity 23D dinette. The curb speaker is under the radio. Might be a good place to start as you mentioned.

When doing mine I had to dig into the hole that is there that the cables run from. Again, not knowing your model you may have to pull speaker to gain access. My prior note in this thread talks how to hook up receiver. I have two receivers in mine that run through a series of splitters to allow different satellite signals on each TV, or TV and DVD or pretty much any combo we want for those days we aren't outside or a sporting event I want to watch is on and wife does not.

Good luck.

How crazy. Why wouldn't Airstream not terminate the coax from the external satellite input to a coax face plate in the DVD player area?

Well, we have a winner! The rogue coax was, indeed, hiding in that rats nest of wires that lived just above the curb side speaker. What a tangle of wires and cables... Jimmy Hoffa may well be in there too.

So, mystery solved... and I am very grateful to all who helped me in this Easter egg hunt! I don't know if I'll ever use it, but I do know where it is, and I can see it and touch it now without any surgery.
