Cool TV question

Has anyone had this issue? The TV in our "living room" will not pick up air channels when the TV in the bedroom does. We have to do any or all of these things: reset, unplug, delete old channel list, auto search channels. Does anyone think it is a problem with the TV and/or wiring to the antenna? Just another one of those quirky problems that really annoy me. Thanks for any input.

Check the cable from the TV to the amplifier/splitter. The antenna wiring should go to the amplifier. The amplifier has two outputs. Check the connections, maybe the living room TV coax isn't screwed on tight. Plug the cable from the living room antenna into the output that was originally connected to the bedroom TV. If the living room TV still doesn't get the same channels use a different coax cable from the amplifier to the TV. If that doesn't work then the its possible the tuner in that TV is having an issue.
