TV Problems

New owner of flying cloud 23d. Have had three weeks and two have been at dealer to fix problems. One problem is the tv not staying secure during traveling. Fixed twice and still not secure. Flopping around during travel. Any suggestions? Bringing it back to dealer again next week.

What do you mean by flopping around? Are you experiencing sway - side to side movement?

Setting up a hitch correctly can be an art.

I think the television is not locking. I use a Velcro strap on my articulating TV mount. It locks but either I didn't get it locked or it came undone I decided to add the strap.

Thanks. Yes it is not staying locked. I guess we will need to use the Velcro strap. Really tired of bringing this new AS back to Fort Worth. Disappointed that so many little things aren't right with a brand new product. As we all know this is a nice luxury.

If the issues are minor and not keeping you from camping just make a list and wait a few months or so. Makes it a little easier to have a bunch of things taken care of at once. We picked up our 25 in April and just dropped it off at dealer for winterization with a punch list of 5-6 things for them to fix at same time. We have been keeping track of small annoyances since we picked it up.

We also use a Velcro strap on our television. It seems to do the trick.

As to minor issues with new Airteams, we have always found it more advantageous to handle these things ourselves. On issue that we are capable of handling, we always do a better job. Sometimes, dealer technicians make things worse. I have found that most dealers are barely competent, at best.

Even if you have to purchase a small part, you are still way ahead. Think of the the time, gas, and aggravation of going back to the dealer.
