henw, I'd take the stereo cover apart. About three minutes and three or four screws and you can see for yourself what's back behind the stereo. Really, it's easy. If you have the factory A/V upgrade, you will have a switching input box back behind the stereo. Maybe it's unplugged. If for some reason you don't have it, you can buy one at Crutchfield about $85 bucks or so and hook up the existing prewired RCA cables from the TV to stereo cavity.

Thanks for the info. I'll look for the input box.

Amazing! It works for me! I was wondering why this high speed low drag system would not address playing the tv thru the system. Guess I'm just a little dumb on that stuff.

audio

For some reason my audio RCA's RED/White are hooked up to the tv Input not output and I couldn't get sound to the TV when I played a dvd. They must have to go to the output then.

When we play our tv on CDC2 we get sound through the surround sound speakers but not through the tv itself. Same when playing DVDs. It's either the speakers or the tv but not both at once. I've always been aggravated by that.

Also, I hate the location of the front speakers in our unit - located directly over the sofa and pointing downward. If you are at the sofa they are blaring in your ear; if you are at the dinette you can't hear them.

Has anyone relocated their front speakers to the front of the overhead cabinet instead of facing downward towards the sofa?

hi
I found that the sound does work through the TV when playing a dvd. The problem is the volume has to be at max on the TV to even hear it. You can shut your speakers off if you so choose to then. Also I can only get sound out of the white cable when watching TV therfore it only plays out of the left side speakers. Anyone else have this problem or do I have to take my TV apart to make sure its is connected?
