Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

Our son in Tampa has a 2006 19' Bambi. He uses a 19" flat screen which he stores on the bed while underway. Our 2005 25FB came with a 15". We have already gone to a 19". I have already done some measuring, and I believe a 22" would work.

We have a 23' Safari 1999 and chose a 22" LG in HD. It works very well. Anthing smaller (we tried a 19") is too small and anything larger is too big to take down and store when we move in our opinion.

Although we don't use it much, we just put a 19" led-lcd into our bambi and it fits nicely. The advantage to the led-lcd is the reduced thickness and weight (not to mention the lower power consumption).

Hi Brian
Does your son have his tv mounted to the wall, I have not seen a bracket that is easy to detach. Can the tv be left on the wall while travelling?

Our son just puts his on the counter by the door on its factory stand. He secures it on the bed for travel.

Several years ago we modified the fridges side cupboard in our Bambi to allow the mounting of a 13" LCD TV inside the cupboard and on a swing out bracket. We did look at other options but wanted to maintain all the counter space on top of the fridge and neither did we want to compromise any other interior space.

The upside of this configuation is that it does not compromise any interior space at all, is very easy to stow, can be watched as in the picture - or can swing out into the space between the fridge and the galley. This location for the TV allows for very comfortable viewing from the dinette in terms of distance and eye-height.

The downside is the space limitation on the TV size - I believe there is enough room for a 15" but that is something to be checked - we chose 13" simply because that is what was available, we knew it would fit, and it was on sale at the time.

Hi, I have a 15" television in my trailer and we are OK with it's size. It's just for camping so I don't need a monster sized screen. But the newer models are about the same physical size and come with 19" or 20" screens. If this one goes bad, I will replace it with 19" or 20" model of the same size case.

We have an LG 22" HD LCD, and it's about the same size as the 19". I got a hinged base with an easily removable mount. It swivels and extends for viewing, and I remove the TV when we travel. The bracket that holds the TV in place is held on by a single wing nut, and goes on and off easily. I got the mount on Ebay for about $20.
