Sound bar for 22 Sport

Have Wally satellite set up on my new Sport but sound from th 22 LG is poor. Want to add sound bar and fire TV as well. Believe I need 22 inch tv with USB for Fire Stick as well as ARC HDMI out to connect the sound bar. Anyone do this and what 22 inch tv has ARC HDMI and USB?

I installed this soundbar on my 2018ís TV. Mine has an optical output so thatís what I used. It makes a night and day difference. This little noname $80 sound bar punches way above its class.

If you want a name brand the Bose Solo 5 is $199 right now. Again, youíd connect with optical.

Your tv had optical outlet? 2019 does not. What is the make and model?

Iíll check tomorrow when the in trailer doing some work but there are a million out there if you are willing to replace the TV. Hey, black Friday is near! Iíll bet you could replace it for under $200.

I checked in my trailer. The smaller of the two TVs, from the bedroom, is a Samsung UN24H4000BF. Thatís what came with the trailer. It has an optical output. I donít think thereís anything magical about that particular TV, though. Iíd just get whatever name brand is on sale.

I also have a 2018 Sport 22 and I can attest the sound quality on the TV really stinks. Beside that you cannot run the sound from the TV into the radio to the house speakers. The picture on the TV is acceptable but the sound can barely be heard. I believe the TV does have an HDMI with the cable running from the TV to the radio to play DVS's. My approach next year was to find a decent radio to replace the sub-par JVC model KD-AV41BT so sound can be run through the speakers in the coach. Hope that's possible.

Easy better sound

I have a 2012 Sport 22FB. As long as your TV has an earphone jack, which almost all do, you can purchase a long earphone male to male connector wire, and run it from your TV to the accessory input on your radio, and play your sound straight through your Trailer deck amplifier through your overhead speakers using the accessory input.

Found Hitachi 22e30 22 inch tv with USB, two HDMI and optical Audi out. Also Bose and another sound bar that are 22Ē and 17 inch that accept optical. They fit on tv shelf, under it. I can add Netflix with usb to Wally for my satellite and tvís USB will take fire stick for Amazon Prime.

Depending on your cell data plan and where you camp, you may also find you have better luck streaming downloaded content from a phone or computer. I have an Apple TV in our trailer but have only been able to use it a few times due to slow data rates. That means you’ll need handy access to the HDMI plug that goes to the TV. We just took out the Blueray player and connect there but I’m not sure how things work on a ‘22.
