Securing LCD TV

I have an 05 30' Classic, no slide and I have a 23" LCD TV that fits perfect on the credenza between the dinette and the sofa....question is, how to secure it for traveling. I could screw it down but that's not real desireable and wouldn't keep it from flopping fore and aft.

I have some straps, maybe pad the top and strap it down?

SUGGESTIONS PLEASE.

Mike

securing TV

Hi I have a 25' Safari with a 15" LCD TV that I keep in one of my front overhead storage cabinets packed with a towel and pillows. Maybe your TV is too big! I would see if you could fit it inside of one of the under sofa containers. And use lots of padding. Or same place somehow if it is too big to fit in one of those containers; just use lots of padding.

You can get a wall bracket, if you want it in a location near a wall. Otherwise, we keep our LCD TV set in a large drawer under one of the beds. Prior to that, I used a small bungee cord attached to two Wally hooks to keep the tv where I wanted it stowed, although it was not a satisfactory solution.

Mike -

We stopped at the factory last year on our way west and they put one of their custom cantilever wall mounts on the wall for us just above the credenza.

You're TV is considerably larger than our 15" one, so I don't know whether that would work for you or not, but if your TV can be mounted on the wall, that's the perfect solution.

I think its worth asking one of the technical support people at Jackson Center.

Thanks for the replies...I might look in to the wall mount but for now I'm going find a place for it and pack it in some padding while on the road. That makes the most sense.
