Samsung BluRay powering off?

Our DVD player just started powering off mid-movie. It seems to shut off every half hour or so. I couldn't find a timer setting on it. Nothing else shuts off, no breakers flip, just started happening last night for the first time. Easily remedied - just turn the DVD player on and it picks up where we left off. A minor, first world glamping problem to be sure - but certainly welcome your thoughts! Thanks!

If the player gets hot it will power off. Make sure nothing is on top of it.

Nothing on top. It is encased in that box Airstream makes to hold it and presumably a nest of wires...

I suppose we could try running it with the cabinet door open and see if that changes things....
