Has anyone replaced both TV's? And is so, which brand and model # did you use and were there any issues? The TV in our bedroom has a faulty headphone jack and we are going to be able to get a couple of free TV's when we upgrade our cell phones. MIght as well upgrade the living room one as well.
Just wondering what to get that will be plug 'n play and won't stick out into the aisle in the front or the back, or require any cable adapter problems. We do not use the DVD player so the HDMI wiring is not an issue. Just hoping someone has already done this so I don't have to reinvent the wheel.

Did you measure your TVs in order to compare them size wise to what you are getting? The mounts for flatscreens are pretty standard within size ranges. Every year TVs are getting thinner and thinner. If you are only using the 75 ohm coax and not the HDMI input, pretty much any modern, decent TV should have that option and should be "plug and play".

I replaced the front TV, but my AS is older than yours. No HDMI on mine, still the old-fashioned red/white/yellow RCA cables. I was able to find a TV with RCA audio output so can still use the stereo speakers, but no video so cannot use DVD. No problem for us, as we have a computer hooked up for movies.

If you don't want to stick out beyond the cabinet, you'll need to measure the TV dimensions along with where your wall mount sits. If your wall mount isn't perfectly centered along the wall, you should adjust for that in your measurement. My TV sticks out about an inch, but that's only when it's secured for travel. When we are watching, it's angled a bit so that it doesn't stick out.

Much happier with the larger TV than the original TV. Also, as Soyboy mentioned, the newer TV is much thinner and lighter than what the AS came with.

A few Insignia TV's (Best Buy in-house brand) operate from 12 volts DC supplied by an external power supply. If you get one of those (or some other 12 volt TV) you can watch TV without shore power, if your trailer has a 12 volt outlet near the TV. Our bedroom TV is 12 volt but the living room one is not.

I had a 2006 25FB not long ago and I replaced both with off the shelf TVs from Best Buy. Just measure your spots and decide how big you can stand. I did go a few inches bigger on both than original but I can't recall the exact sizes now.

My current 2015 28' international has two TVs, and they are both too small for my liking. If anything ever goes wrong with either, I will be enlarging them slightly for sure.

Whatever you get, I suggest two different brands. It's annoying when we turn on the TV in the "great room" 😀 and the TV in the bedroom goes on too #FirstWorldProblems 😳😉

1. Removed & sold the small TV in the bedroom.
2. Removed the smallish TV opposite the galley & put it in the bedroom.
3. Bought 40 in Samsung (~$400) & mounted in on a rotatable mount (~$100) where the smallish TV used to be.
4. Samsung stored vertically when travelling & rotated horizontally for watching.
5. Now can watch college & pro football games in detail. Huzzah!!!

Shoehorned a Samsung 40 inch 4K on the wall above the dinette in our 2016 28ft Flying Cloud. It replaced the 28 inch Samsung factory installed unit. Installed a new wall mount to ensure no problems with the additional weight and size. No issues after a 13,548 round trip to Alaska. Fabulous 4K picture and the TV connect to my WiFi router to access Netflixs for movies.

I too have been thinking of replacing my 2007 TV with a new Samsung...lighter and much better picture. The TV is mounted on the refrigerator wall. To replace the TV I will need to pull the cord out of the wall and snake the new cord back through. Does anyone know what the black sticky "gap filler" is that Airstream uses to fill the hole in the wall?

I don't know what Airstream uses but I have used a product that is generically known as self-vulcanizing tape. IT comes in a roll with a separator paper. When you press it together it vulcanizes into a solid rubber mass. It it great for wrapping external electrical connectors, etc. and can probably do a great job of filling the hole.

We bought two Vizio''s from Best Buy. 32" in the lounge area and added a 24" in the bedroom. Because the bedroom was a new installation, we raised it higher than factory. Glad we did! HAPPY! HAPPY! HAPPY!!

I realize this is a four year old thread, however I am finding that my 2019 Globetrotter probably has 4 year old tvs. I cannot get them to receive video from my media server (PI4) running KODI.

Any recommendations for a current model tv as a replacement.
