Digging up this old post cause im still thinking about a good replacement antenna. I assumed that a new crank up would not fit the ducted a/c models but is this correct? Trying to find out dimensions of both antenna and roof

Replacement for Winegard Roadstar 3000 - 2017 Airstream

That is my understanding ducted a/c prevents the use of the crank up directional antenna. As of today I have not found a replacement idea anywhere.

I mounted the razor automatic on top of the second AC. It was very easy to do. The Wingard comes with a cover plate to cover the hole and allow the cable to exit. All I need was a few stainless bolts and washers.

Since you mounted the Razor on top the A/C unit, do you get better, stable, more/all local channels? Sure would like to see a photo of this setup.

I have looked at the reviews for the automatic , several people had issues . Are you happy with it?

Yes I am happy with it now. I had to have my first unit replaced under warranty. I would not search after a couple of months usage.
