Well, after a lot of fiddling, I actually have an idea how the Clarion head unit functions. The trick is understanding the tilt, press, vs, press tilt.....LOL
Seriously, I am learning and it is not so bad once all is figured out.
As to the speaker placement in an Airstream....so obvious that the individual making the decisions has no knowledge whatsoever of audio sound staging as produced by a properly set up speaker system.
There does not appear IMO to be an adequate method of placing the speakers so they would be correct when sitting in the recliners. However, I believe I will raise my TV about 18 inches and install a sound bar under it. The proper sound bar is what I need to decide about.
Then, i think I will take the speakers shooting down on the recliners and remount them shooting out into the room directly. While this will diminish the treble notes when sitting in the recliners, the nice part is at least one recliner can be pulled out into the aisle, thus facing the new speaker placement. Additionally, when I have the speakers out i will pack the enclosures with a proper material so as to dampen any unwanted resonant frequencies.
So, when all completed it will show up on my thread
