Oregon Coast

Anyone know of any good place to park our airstream on the Oregon Coast or North California Coast for about a week. Hoping for toward the end of September… ??

Are you looking for storage or camping for a week ?

There are a bunch of RV parks and State parks.

For storage perhaps the rv parks could be of assistance.

Check out http://www.rvparky.com

Hello Dawnie:

You're asking us about your home state?

I love your coastline. -- close your eyes and throw a dart at the map. -- I can guarantee you will have a great time.

I love Gold Beach and their Jet Boat trip up the Rogue River. It's pricey, but fabulous. I've done it five times and I'll do it again if I have the opportunity. There used to be a vendor on the harbor jetty who called herself "The Cat House Lady" she sold hand crafted houses for cats.

Your entire coastline is fabulous with lots of light houses to visit. The volunteers who lead the light house tours are excellent. One year I spent a month just visiting your light houses. Moving our trailer less than a 100 miles between stops. Then driving back and fourth to different spots before moving the trailer on another few miles. (Even flew a kite on the beach).

You want specifics, your state parks are excellent. When they are full we needed to use private parks which we found all to be good and very satisfactory.

Enjoy

Available RV Parks

That's what I should of said. Any available parks or places people may rent out for RV. I did find one available, I'll let you know. Ocean view near Coos Bay. At least for a couple days, then we will move on. Thanks 😎

Has anyone taken Hwy 299 from Eureka to Redding CA. We are pulling a 27' trailer…
Curious about the hwy and elevation ? Someone said Hwy 36 might be better ?

Forget hwy 36 it is a windy road on fire.

299 has major construction on it with delays. Also has fires it th area.

Check out wildland Fire app, it shows wher the fires are and you can zoom in to street level for road details it works better then google maps.

Might try Sea & Sand RV resort near Depot Bay. Also Cannon Beach RV resort in Cannon Beach.
