New radio for a 1975 Tradewind

Even though my kids think it is the coolest thing in the camper, I am wanting to change out the original 8track stereo. Are these just standard car stereos installed in these? I am assuming that they run off the 12v power and not the plug on power.

Yep, 12v car stereo is all you need. Or embrace the 8track and hit the thrift stores!

I was tempted to do that, but it really just does not get any radio stations in and it would be nice to plug my iPhone in and listen to Pandora stations.

I think you can install a decent car deck for not a lot of money. A few years ago, I put a Pioneer with iPod adapter into my car for a couple of hundred dollars.
