Easy way, cut off the existing connector, and splice on the connector you need. On the antenna lead, not on the Tivoli!

Before I got my new 'Stream with the built-in car stereo I used a trash-picked (free) Altec-Lansing 2.1 computer speaker system from about 1999 or 2000 with an iPod. Imagine my surprise after retrieving it from the dumpster, getting it home, plugging it in and discovering it worked perfectly. Since it was free I never really worried about it being stolen and left it outside at my campsite often. I have used it to play Christmas music via Pandora at our office Christmas parties 2 years in a row. I am still using it as I am typing this post on my PC at work playing my iTunes. This thing really rocks! I can't believe someone just threw it out!
I know a couple who travel with their Bose Wave radio.
As an aside- I am wearing work uniforms (free to me) and free shoes, too...

Go to the electronic store of your choice and listed to the Bose Soundlink mini Bluetooth speaker. It sounds incredible for its size. In addition to running off 120v ac it has an internal battery that can be used when not connected to 120v

I was thinking that would work. I think I'll try it! Thanks!

Problem solved

Forgot I posted this ,ended up putting in a Sony satellite ready car stereo along with some small hanging boat speakers from West Marine. Used the wiring that was installed at the factory for a CB that was never put in , along with the original whip antenna hooked to some new coax. Worked out very well.

Bose also has one for the IPOD that works on AC and battery. It does not require bluetooth . We have had it now for two years and love.
