missing mast and antenna for 67 TW
My 67 TW is missing the TV antenna and mast. I'd like to find parts or something similar to the original to replace or restore this. However, I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for. The entire apparatus including the mast has been removed by PO (see photo.)
Inside near the front window I have a antenna direction crank (see photo.) The crank has a plaque that reads "Brand Deluxe TV Selector Tower, Braund Manufacturing Co., Battle Creek, Mich." The crank is mounted approximately opposite to where a shaft protrudes from the exterior skin, but I'm not sure the two are connected (the crank turns, but the shaft seems frozen, and I can't stand on both sides of the wall at once to see whether the shaft turns when I turn the crank.) For all I know, this crank was glued to the interior for looks by a PO. (You can get one on Ebay for about $23.)
There don't seem to be any other cranks, controls or wires related to the antenna. I'm not sure if this was an electric raise/lower or manual crank, etc. Any info about what was originally installed, as well as clues on where to get a similar replacement (or build one?) would be appreciated.
