Replaced all the tube TV in my home with Sharp Aquos LCD units. For the price and spec's, they are hard to beat. HD is great. Just make sure that they have HD tuner installed.

and it the dvd died 4 months ago-----trouble shooting it cost more than buying a new dvd player and piggy backing it in nice unit but bad reviews---of course I did not read them til it died

Oh man, that's not good to hear . . . I must have missed the bad reviews, read only good ones except those wanting better sound quality. Guess we'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Off air HD Receivers are great!!

I picked up an off-air digital receiver and it works greta with the existing aerial on my Tradewind. I had to do a little bit of connection moditfication, but it works great and still looks original.

I put a 23" wide screen format Samsung LCD, could'nt be happier with the size or picture quality.
