iPod connection help please.

Hello my problem is that I see no socket for plugging in an iPod into my sound system. I have a 2011 model Flying Cloud 20 footer if that would help.
I thought that an audio in plug would be in plain sight but no.
Thank you for any help.
James.

I'm currently blasting the blues from a thumb/USB drive jacked into the front (Ipod/pad works too) of my Sony radio. My Ipod/pad will not play on the USB ports on the Samsung bluray or tv, but a thumb drive will. A radio upgrade in your future?

Excuse me please...just one question...
I cannot be of any help either in this regards, but I would like to ask another radio question. I can get FM great, but, cannot figure out how to get AM after pushing the source button.

On my radio Am & FM are subsections off the tuner mode from the source button. The manual tells all.

What Radio brand/model is it?

Apparently, from another thread on this topic, the 2011 model radios did not have an aux-in. Here is the thread address:

That said, I replaced my '06 model radio twice now. First with a pioneer model that was awful hard to figure out how to control it. The most recent choice is fantastic- a Pioneer unit that I highly recommend.

Have you tried a plug that is an earphone connector on both sides? connected to the Ipod and the radio. That is how I use mine.

That's not for an earphone connector. That is where you plug in the audio output jack from your iPod.

Well I need a different wire set because before I have been using one that, pluugs into the ear jack on the iPod and has two connectors for plugging into the device the sound will play out.
Thank you very much for your help Gents.

Maybe you've figured it out already, but the connector you need will be mini-stereo on both ends.
