Is there really enough bandwidth on a typical campground Wifi network to support streaming video? How would that work if everyone tried to do it?

KJ,, most of the time the "rated" watts or amps is higher than running amps.. The rating on the 22" was like 45 but when i check it with watt meter it was only 22-25 watts.

unless the wires on your 12v plug is real small 22ga it should be fine for 4 amps.

aquinob,,, I would bet there is not a lot of places that provide "free" wifi that is robust enough to stream movies for more than one person at a time, not counting all the folks looking at facebook, words with friends etc..

if you want to stream movies get a mifi (jetpack) from verizon and a $200 a month data package and stream on dude. (no free lunch there)
