Help from an audio junkie

Hello everyone, I have installed a new 12V. system. My question is my amp for my new audio system at full power produces 44 amps. it will never see this although my new parallax is a 55 amp. If it matters the battery is a 27 series lifeline. Do I have a problem here. Thanks Robert

Your neighbors might, if you crank it up...
Seriously, it is close to the capacity of the converter, and if used at full output, along with some lights and charging the battery, it may exceed the capacity of the converter. When you turn it off, though, it should recover the battery if the capacity is exceeded. I would be more concerned with the trailer wiring, most of the circuits are only 20 amp or so capacity, unless you are running fresh, higher-capacity wires direct to the amp, and properly rated wires from the converter to the battery.

Yes all wireing will be new and correct size. Also no holes cut for speakers just a coulple of corner boxes and front boxes built. I love good sound and I'm selling an old mercury I had it in and wanted to put it to good use. Thanks for the reply. Robert

Your battery will act as a current buffer, and supply plenty of power to the amplifier.
The converter will merely recharge the battery, for the most part, even though it is all parallel.
The capacity of current from a battery is enormous. You would be hard pressed to exhaust it with a car audio amp, unless you're talking competition systems.
The amp might draw 44amps at full power, over the full frequency range, but that rarely happens.
I doubt that it will draw more than 10 amps at annoyingly loud volume, with peaks perhaps reaching the 44amp limit.
In any case, I do not believe that you have anything to worry about.
