Help? Can't Turn On TV?
I'm sure this is 100% user error, but my husband and I have yet to figure out how to turn on our LG tv in our Sport 22fb. Fridge is fine, microwave/convection oven is fine, but I can't figure out the tv. Any help would be SO appreciated!

With the remote. I had to label my TV, Blue Ray and stereo remote so I would remember which is which. On our 20 the TV is plugged into a duplex outlet near the cable connection. I usually keep my circuit tester plugged in there just as a head up that I haven't lost 110 and I'm now on 12V.
Hope this helps.

WHEN you lose the remote, there is a button on the bottom of the tv, center, under the "LG" logo, that will turn it on and off, and allow you to change the channels and volume.
There was a lot we went over when you picked up your trailer, and that was a pretty low priority, as far as remembering.

Umm... is it plugged in?... Do the other outlets work? You might have inadvertently tripped the GFCI breaker. It's in the breaker panel under the fridge, next to the dog emission detector.

I'll try that. It's definitely plugged, so I'll check the breaker. Thank you!

After you figure out how to turn on the TV, remember that you still have to turn on the antenna, unless you are on cable. And then turn the antenna off when you're done using it, unless you want to run down the battery.

my gfic is in the bathroom. In the breaker panel under the fridge there should be a decal that lists the 110VAC circuits and what (very generally) is on each circuit. Check what else is listed Look at my pic as cir # 4 lists ...GFI-bath-galley-refer-dinette-outside & TV I'm not sure if all are GFIC protected...the TV may no be part of the GFIC leg
If you have one of these or similar, and plug it into the TV outlet
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Receptacl...671_pkw__pmt__
it will have a description on the tester for what lights = normal

Well, they did mention that the microwave works, so one assumes they were plugged into shore power or a generator when testing. Do the Sport trailers still use the older layout of inverter-only plugs next to shore-power-only plugs? If so, that could be the issue. My '17 Flying Cloud has a pass-through inverter so the inverter plugs are "hot" when plugged into shore power even with the inverter off, and when running on batteries they require the inverter to be switched on to energize them.

No TV the other day.
Was on shore power..
Checked breakers all OK..Changed batteries that were weak just to be sure.
Tested the batteries with the voltage meter.
Tested that there was voltage to the TV at the plug on the TV side
Used the inexpensive meter from Harbor Freight..
Put the meter with pointed probes on the AC line in the in the back of the TV.
Plugged the power line back in. Viola.. the TV was back.(Plug may not have been in all the way.
Aim the remote at the lower right hand corner of the TV.
The infrared signal from the remote must be seen by the reader. The red light on the lower right at the front of the TV is where that is located..
1.Fresh remote batteries. Make sure that they are in correctly. (pos/neg positions.
2. TV has AC power going to it.
P mail me if you need a quick explanation how to use a voltage meter with probes..
Keep the shiny side up..
On the way to Alaska from Southern California.

IF you have to aim the remote that accurately, I'd replace the batteries. I recommend Lithium AA's or AAA's because they last forever and they never leak. Yes, they're stupid expensive, but sometimes they're worth it.
After I put new lithiums in my remote, I can aim it at the opposite wall and it still reaches the TV.
I have a battery powered digital clock in my RV. I haven't changed the batteries in 10 years. I noticed the display was iffy on one digit, but the clock still kept time.

I came across this issue and finally figured it out. Since I’m a newbie. I didn’t realize I needed to be plugged into shore power. Shore power is what it’s called for RVs, it’s basically electricity (you need to be plugged in). The 120 outlets won’t works off just your 12v batterie(s). Hope that helps.
