Hi Michelle,
Their price is pretty good too. You are going to get so spoiled. Enjoy.

Hi,
We do not have an hd tv for the Safari, or the home..we have an analog portable tv/vhs combo that we keep in the safari..and I bring my hp laptop..not quite ready for the change, but in the meantime..my son got me this hd tuner antenna that has a usb cable that just plugs right into the laptop..It comes w/this little rectangle antenna that can be set up on the table or attached by suction cup to the window..it allows us to get any local tv stations wherever we are..and you can also record programs w/the software that comes with the tuner..

elgato
I have had several of elgato's tuners including the eyety hybrid. All work great... highly recommend their products.
Have used a Mac Mini, hybrid, flat screen, wireless mouse and keyboard to provide all you need on the road for entertainment and computing... works great.

Another option is to purchase a DVD player/recorder with HD tuner. Kills two birds with one stone.

We did the "sooner or later" thing sooner. Bought a 20" Visio HDTV from Costco and a nice little 350 watt pure sine wave inverter for when we are boondocking. The TV does just fine with old antenna that came on our '65 Caravel. It has a UHF loop. I put a switch on the input line going to the TV so that we may use our Dish or cable from an RV park
No extra stuff to carry around, go bad. The old TV was just that, old. Couldn't justify spending money to make it work next February.

And why is Camping World charging 70 dollars to install it?
