Last year I made two stands for two 17" LCD TV's - photos are here...
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f450...and-56244.html

They were terribly easy to make and are rock solid. I have since bought a shorter post so that they do not stand up any higher over the counter than they need to. We have a 76 Sovereign and have one mounted in the front and one in the rear. I screwed them down using the same threaded pipe brackets that I used on the back of the TV's.

Because they are on these treaded brackets - they also will turn to view from different angles.

No problems with ours at all. Have two LCD/DVD models on wall brackets and they are great! Some units may require wiring the sound to the speakers built in by Airstream or remote speakers for better sound however it's not an absolute necessity. Hook em up to a MotoSat automatic dish on the roof and they're even better and it'll be just like being at home. Of course, it is a camper and unless you're forced to stay indoors because of bad weather why have TVs at all? Then again, we just have to have our techie stuff just in case. Ya just never know when you can't do without more toys. The LCDs are getting so cheap these days you might go to Best Buy and look for a display model that is the last of stock and get a deal. Don't buy the extended warranty and you have one sweet deal for sure. We did that with one of our units.
