Different signal on front TV and bedroom TV

Look in all your exterior compartments and wherever your cable TV input is. Someone may have added an outside connection.

I looked at the wiring harness diagram for the older 27 as yours is not published. It looks like there are two cables to the bedroom area. If you only have one box, there may be another cable in it. But as I said there are two tv connections in my BR. Curbside plate near foot of twin bed has 12 cig lighter socket and TV cable. Rear wall near curbside bed head has phone and TV cable.

Without actually seeing the setup, I can only think of two reasons why your setup could be working (not working) the way it is:
1 - You have an A/B switch instead of a splitter, so selecting one television turns off the signal to the other. But if that was the case, you'd have to manually select the A circuit or B circuit, and I'm sure you would know if you're doing that.
2 - You have a weak signal coming into the splitter, so it's even weaker coming out. But if that was the case, it's more likely that when you turned on the second television you'd lose signal to both because the signal is stupid; it can't pick which television it prefers, and the signal would be split equally between them when both televisions are on.

I'm sure there are other reasons; those are just the only ones I can think of. Which probably means I'm just as stupid as the electricity is.

Quick question for you, I seem to have a similar problem with our tv. We just got our first AS, A 28 intl signature, however at first camping evening we tried to watch some tv from the park cable hookup and while we tried to select the cable option from the menu (air-cable) all we got was a bunch of chanels scrambled with white snow. Although the manager of the campsite tried to help us all we got was a bunch of scrambled images. However by changing the selector option to air, we where able to see some chanels. Some said air from the guide others just have the stations codes, but keeping the tv on cable we got nothing. Any ideas? Been a brand new rig I was expecting to have an automatic feed option... Will be very appreciative of any assistance. BTW , couldn't find any info about manual splits or switches to change in the manuals.

I had the same problem at a CG with cable last week. Then I tried to simply turn off the antennae booster (on our AS it's the small black button on the plate behind the main TV with the antennae cable) and "poof" the cable channels came in clear as day!

From this experience, I believe that the booster must be "on" for over the air channels but "off" for cable TV. Also, the booster places a small load on your batteries so it is probably a good idea to turn off when not in use.

The booster switch does double duty. In addition to turning the preamp in the antenna on and off, it also switches the feed to all TVs between the cable input and the antenna. Booster OFF for cable, ON for antenna.

I checked the owner's manual (I know, I know ) and it confirms that the booster should be on for over-the-air and off for cable.
