I know someone will chime in with the correct answer to your problem. As long as you have the antenna in the IN connector and the Tv in the OUT connector, it should work,unless you have a defective box. Hook it up to another tv and Rabbit ears or sumpin. You do have to remember that digital tv is quite different than our old Analog. It is affected by trees and buildings. I think it is also shorter range than the old analog.Analog was lower in frequency and would bend with the terrain,Digital is higher frequency and is pretty much line of sight. I know our Tv was useless this passed weekend but cause of the surrounding hills that interfered with the siginal. Now Satelite would have worked but I didn't pack it. OH WeLL We didnt die from NO TV however I think my wife was going into ANIMAL PLANET withdrawl. LOL
