Exclamation Coaxial cable shore connection to interior. Help Please

I have found that I do not have continuity from the outside shore connection for the cable tv to the interior of the trailer. I have a 1985 25' Sovereign and it seems that the outside box is behind the outside sheeting. It also appears that the box is between an inside and outside wheel well. Any suggestions for getting to the box without removing the bath room?

I'm guessing that your connection was not factory installed. My 1985 25' Sovereign has a simple connection vic the credenza. So I'm not sure what your configuration is. On mine I can easily unscrew the cover plate and repair or replace.

Is the cover of the box removable? I have not seen one that is not. The screws may be under the flip up cover if you have a flip up cover over the connector. Normally the wiring of this sort is accessible if it was factory installed.

Howdy again! I've gone out and taken pictures of my trailer shore connection. I can't see anyway for me to get at the darn thing. Take a look and see.

There are a couple of shots to show placement on the trailer and then I took the camera interior to show you the same wheel well under the sink. Buy the way, I'm unsure of how to attach these pictures. So you'll excuse me if it doesn't work. Notice the raised portion in the interior wheel well under the sink? I believe that is there to make room for the Junction Box that was used for the outside shore connection for the cable and phone.

Thanks Fred

Fallman...that link in your post above re-directs the browser to a "Find Romance" site.
I am not interested in online dating and don't need that kind of BS when all I wanted to see was how you installed the cable connection. I hope the moderators remove the link.

EDIT: The link has now been removed by a moderator. Thanks!

I see that you are a moderator. Did you see the post by "dscluchfc"? He complains that I had a link that sent him to a dating site. I didn't put that link there. Can you enlighten me as to how it might have happened?

No clue how the link got there. Unless you somehow pasted it in by hitting a few wrong keys.

The system will only do the link thing if you follow the link function as you post. It was properly formed, but did not point to anything weird when I looked at it. I deleted it so that members would not be linked to a matchmaking site.

Anyway, any luck posting pictures to the photo site? I want to help get your CATV inlet working.

I tried to attach some pictures so that you could see what I have, but it apparently did not work. I was also interested in making a picture gallery for my profile, but didn't figure it out. Suggestions are very welcome. Thanks Fred
