I would like a cleaner look for the outside cable connection at campsites.
Is television coax cable only available in a straight-line configuration (like photo #1)?
Or is television coax cable available in a configuration like on phone headsets (like photo #2)?
I don't like how the traditional straight-line configuration looks all strung out when hooked up at the campsite. If it's available in something like what's on a phone headset I want to purchase it. Any ideas?
I would imagine any flexible coaxial cable, in the form you mention, would have to have stranded center conductor, rather than the solid wire used in standard coax.

You can buy the right angle connectors at Best Buy or Radio Shack. This will run the cable straight down. I had to add one to the back of the TV I installed in the bedroom, I used a very close to the wall mount which allowed no room to connect the coaxial cable.
I like your idea of clean look, I'm off to buy the right angle connector for the outside connection today.

My cable plugin goes near the power cord. If you lead the extra cord to where the extra power cord is stored, you may have your problem solved.
However, there may be 'inductive interference' with the signal (hope that's the right term for it). If there is no signal problem, you could even use garbage bag/twist/zip ties to follow the power cord.
If someone tries this, let us know if it works! Thanks.
