Clearstream 2 antenna

Has anyone installed and used one of these externally?

https://www.antennasdirect.com/store...p?&productid=6

They are on sale locally and the reviews seem pretty good. Just looking for something for casual use, mostly for a couple tailgates a year and those rainy days with the kids. Otherwise, we won't watch it too much.

So, I basically mounted it flat on the roof like this:

It works great and I'm getting all the available channels.

Just behind the front vent. I was using the spot where the old antennae had been placed partly because it just made sense and also to avoid drilling any new holes and making more mess.

I'll try to get some pics up in the next day.

Basically, I sat it flat and used a handful of sheet metal screws using holes already in the body along with some of the original antennae body.

This weekend we were camping at a state park right between two markets and unfortunately only picked up a few of what would traditionally be "UHF" stations from one of the cities. A little disappointing but tests close to home have yielded good results so I guess it all depends where you are more than anything else.
