Cd Changer not working

Actually, I think it has never worked. They didn't run it for me in delivery, so I'm guessing it never worked. I put two new cd's in the magazine today, and got nothing. And the mag won't eject either. I've gone thru "source" and "mode" and the manuals: nada. Checked thru the cabling behind the a/v panel, and it all seems connected (although it's a sloppy mess in there).

The unit seems dead. The head unit displays "No Mag" when I select thru source. I don't get it. The manual (or illustration sheet) is worthless.

Is there a manual way to eject the magazine so I can just get my cd's?
