Broken RCA plug help

After returning from our trip we found that the front TV had come unsecured from the swing mount stored position.

I found the RCA yellow male plug going into the front Television's video port on the back of the set broken.
The center connector is completely broken off.
I suspect this is why I cannot get DVD’s to play on the rear TV in the bed room now (DVD’s play OK on the front TV).

Is there a way to repair the RCA plug? I would hate to have the whole cable replaced.
Thanks
Denny

I you know how to solder, you can get solder on replacements at Radio Shack and such places. It's just an audio frequency coaxial connector.

Thanks Steve for the reply!

Never thought of Radio Shack.

I'm going to head on out to Radio Shack and see what they have.

Or, eBay ...if you want inexpensive spares ... RS is closing stores all over.

Stopped in at our local RS and explained my problem.
He showed me both solderless and solder RCA connectors.
Bought the solderless style, package of four for about $5, thought they would be easier to install as my soldering skills are not that great.

I hope to work on the connections tomorrow.

Thanks to all that replied.
