Bedroom TV Works Better Than Living room TV

On our new 2017 25' Flying Cloud, given our poor reception problems outlined in a related thread, the bedroom TV gets more channels and better reception than the living room TV. The living room TV, on most days, channel 4 will not come in at all, while at the same time the same channel will come in great on the bedroom TV. How is this possible? Note the antenna amplifier is turned on. Also, when we turn on the living room TV with the remote, the bedroom TV will also come on. I thought they were on different frequencies. Thanks for any input!!

Some TVs are more sensitive than others, but it is more likely that there is a problem with the cabling between the antenna switch and the LR TV. Check both ends of the cable from the wall to the LR TV. The bare copper wire should be even with the front of the screw-on part of the connector or a little longer and should be straight to line up with the mating connector in the wall and TV. On short cables I have seen the center wire push back and not make a good connection when not properly aligned with the socket on either the wall or the TV.
