Barund Skyliner Antenna Drive Pin & Axle Removal

I humbly and amusingly admit I’m replacing the worm gear in a Barund Skyliner TV antenna for the first time in my 20 years of vintage Airstreaming. And I’m slightly embarrassed to ask this: How should I remove the drive pin (10512) and axle (12394)? The drawings make it look as though they should pull out from the curb side as the unit points toward the front of the trailer, but I can’t figure out how to remove the heads on the pin and axle, removal of which would appear necessary.

I forgot to mention I removed the circlips on the ends of the drive. Before I misspelled Braund in the first post and title. [emoji5]

Pin 12394 can be gently tapped out from the side that you took the clip off. I used a pin punch to do it. The other comes out after the first shaft is removed. Be careful as these parts are getting very hard to find if you break or lose any.

Doing exactly what you described worked perfectly, and the shaft and pin weren't damaged at all by the removal. Both Alex the Argosy and I thank you very much!
