Any experience with Jensen JWM990 Stereo
I've been looking for a nice upgrade for my 72 Sovereign. Does anyone have any experience with a Jensen JWM990? I've not been overall impressed with Jensen stereos, but they seem to be the most serious about RV stereos. I like the a) bluetooth, b) app control, c) weather station, d) three zones, e) dvd/hdmi output, f) size (from Texas where size matters).
I know most any car stereo will work, but I really want something more functional. The JWM 990 seems to be in a class by itself.
Am I missing something?
Thanks

Are you missing something...Yes.....in my opinion Jensens are cheap units. I just pulled basically a brand new one out of a Jayco TT we have on a seasonal site.....watch a DVD and the motor sound was very noticable. Now putting in a double din Pioneer 2700 BT which was a very easy mod. Much nicer features on a modern head unit.

I replaced the radio in my wife's Sienna with a Kenwood DPX500BT in 2013. She's been very happy and we've not had any problems with it. It is a double level 'square' radio and not the single level like the one in our AS.
I've used Kenwood brand in several cars and home stereo units over the years. Never had a problem with any of them, never had one fail. Have you gone over to Crutchfield: Car Stereo, Speakers, Home Theater, Pro Audio, 4k TV to get specifications and reviews? Nice site and lifetime support if you buy from them.

We have a Jensen in our Airstream, and its quality is adequate for our needs. However, we'd like a direct replacement which can be operated by a hand-held remote. Does anyone have a recommendation?
Nick.

I installed this Pioneer 8700 in my Bigfoot to replace a cheaper model. A direct fit.....comes with remote and trim ring. Easy to hook up wiring harness as all these units seem to use the same colour coded wires. Has the feel of a substantial piece of audio equipment.
