Water pump - necessary?

I have a new to me 1976 Sovereign. The water pump has had all the wires cut to it, and is in pretty rough shape.. this AS will be stationary (the RV toilet was already replaced with a regular one, too hard to move out of my property, etc - itll be a guest house). Is this pump necessary?

My house water is from a spring, which goes into a tank, and is pumped to my house/pressurized through it with a pump. The AS will be hooked up to water from my house, after that pump. So, water should be good with pressure, yes?

Thanks all

No to the first question and yes to the second. If you are not moving the trailer and you have house or city pressure then you do not need the trailers water pump. The trailers water pump is only for the on board fresh water tank.

You are good to go.

If you remove the pump, you will have to plug the pump output water line. If you don't it will leak water all over the trailer when hooked to the city water connection.

second the motion from ventport. Plug the hose that goes to the outlet port of the pump, don't just put a splice on it otherwise you will have constant water going to the fresh water tank.
Also get a GOOD Water Pressure Regulator, City water pressure raises a lot and is a know fact.
Any pics of the guest house?
