Funky new toaster

We just got a new Bodum toaster (the French-press coffee maker company). These new toasters have rubber sides, so the toaster won't scratch your cupboards when it bounces around. The toaster comes in a broad range of colors to match any decor. We bought red, which is orangy-red, to match our CCD Paprika decor. Our trailer is now in winter storage, but I'm sure the toaster will be a great fit. Love it! It's very Airstream-worthy.

I saw those at the Bay the other day (or was it Sears - I can't remember). They're pretty cool looking. Let us know how well it performs!

A toaster like that would look great in our trailer. Thanks for sharing

Hi Cameron and others,
We found it at the Bay. It was on sale last week . . . a $30 reduction, so we couldn't pass it up.

We have tried it out twice now. It seems to work quite well. I like the little removable crumb tray and the cord wrap underneath.

This is our first toaster in about 15 years. We gave up on them because the lever always broke. We've been a using toaster-oven instead. However, we found that the toaster-oven is too bulky for the Airstream. We hope this is the perfect solution. It sure is cute.

Ha ha ha! Maybe! Actually, a friend of mine tried to order one online, and the message she got was that they aren't available in Canada. I told her what store I found them in. In the US, I'd try Macy's. They carry similar items as The Bay in Canada.
