Dometic Fridge with World Logo

There is a '63 Dometic Refrigerator on eBay, item number 271043987456.

I don't know the gentleman, but he seemed quite reasonable. I asked if he'd be willing to sell the door only -- he would. It measures about 35 1/2" by 22 1/2" and he'd ship just the door for $25 to the Northeast. YMMV.

I was thinking about trying to fit it on a newer fridge, but the size is wrong for me. Hopefully it will work for someone else.

Whole fridge is available, but sounds untested.

Looks nice, I've only seen a few of those.

The only thing similar I was looking for... was the "International" banner on a globe background: an aluminum badge on some early 60's international package trailers. I found one a while back on eBay, and will be reproducing them sometime in the near future.

They're so cool, I figure everyone oughta be able to enjoy them, even if it's not strictly authentic outside of the historically narrow parameters they were found in.
