1953 Preway Stove

Starting to work on our new/old 1953 Clipper. Has original appliances and would like to keep and get working. How should I prepare the Preway oven and stove top to operate? Also, how do you check the Marvel refrigerator?.
I think it is electric. The light works but it doesn't seem to get cold. Is there a good product to clean the enamel? Thank you for any advice.

Ammonia is actually a great cleaner for it. Smelly but works. Safer than oven cleaner
