What is the size of the Inverter?
How much battery power do you have in amp hours?
Inverter sounds as if it powering something also there are many parasitic loads like the fridge has a control board as does the TV, radios, hot water heater etc.

Inverter is a switching DC oscillator feeding a transformer to raise the voltage to 120. It will draw current on the 12 volt side even if you are not powering anything on the 120 side. You must turn it off to conserve the 12 volt battery.

Yes, inverters do draw quiescent current even if no 120v items connected to the inverter are switched on. In the case of my small (200 watt) inverter, that quiescent current is about 250 mA, or about 4 amp-hrs overnight. No way near enough to drain a new battery. Your inverter likely draws more, but I would suspect a defect unless the inverter is driving loads you are not aware of.

"if i turn inverter switch off , batteries are fine"
You may have answered your own question, how long will they stay charged when you leave the I.V. un-plugged?

think i found it
youre right,,,
i thought you could leave the inverter on 24 hours a day,,,,
i only turn it on at 11 pm to midnite then turn the off/on button off,,,if i leave the inverter on all day and night ,the batteries barely start generator,,i noticed even though i have never used them , the front tv and bedroom tv probably use power, the gas refer must ,the convection micro must ,the inverter must , and i dont know what else
