I doubt that you have an inverter, they convert 12 volts DC to 120 AC. You will have a converter charger that makes 12 volts to run the lights etc from 120 volts shore power. It also charges the battery. They were located in various places in the Airstreams, but you might try looking under the couch in the front of the rig. The fuses may also be there, in a panel covered by a plastic part, right under the front window. It should indicate that there are fuses inside.

If not, plug the rig in, and listen carefully for a humming sound somewhere in the trailer. That will be the "buzz box" original converter/charger. Fuses will be nearby.

Welcome to the forums. If your Sovereign is a rear bath model, the CONverter is under the bathtub, and can be accessed through the curbside closet. Your trailer may have a switch inside the bathroom vanity behind the mirror to turn the Univolt on and off.

"Where should I put this box of electronic circuitry and fuses?"

"Hmmm... put it under that big tub for water with plenty of plumbing nearby."

Sounds like design work done at/after Happy Hour.

Funny DKB! Terry is right and Airstream is not alone on this. I can't tall you how many folks call in about water dripping on the converter.
Tom, Terry is probably correct but also look under the sink, behind the stove/oven and under the goucho. Its there somewhere and probably humming like a barber.

Would the converter also make a hotspot in the floor behind the couch near the charger switch??

I don't remember what model Airstream or even if that was an Airstream. It was sent to us a few years ago and recently we have more pics burning the carpet and another burning the plactic cover over the carpet that manufactures put down. I'm still baffled on Airstream using these but I'm not affiliated with them. They like Parallax single stage units clearly.
