I posted a question on this on another forum (DIY RE)
and the responses are still trickling in..
"The XADC can operate from generator power and potentially poor quality campground power"
Chance that my Xantrex XADC 60A charger might furnish some filtering..
so we know the AC side is heavily filtered... I'd think we can count on the XACD only protecting itself
from light noise on the DC charging line and not cleaning up other waveforms, another clue being the < 2mv battery draw when not connected to AC power.
I sorely wish this was not long-distance engineering, would be nice to put that unit through its paces with some bench equipment
