UniVolt Croaked And Modification Questions

I imagine the first part is self-explanatory. It's original to our '73 Overlander and doesn't owe me a dime. What would be a good replacement for it? I've heard some good things about the Intellipower PD9260A and/or CV and is the Charge Wizard worth the money?

Next, a good share of the time when we hit the road, we've got adjacent power/water peds available. I've been thinking about adding/rewiring an additional 50 amp circuit so we could run a microwave and the reefer and AC at the same time. Has anyone done this, and if so, how so? Specifically, which is wired to which shore power source and why?

Many thanks in advance!

Adding another circuit to your camper is not worth it, unless you can run it to a separate power source.

I have an Iota charger…Excellent customer service. BTW, the univolt was prone to frying your batts if you left it on, once the batts were charged
