Univolt?

I hear a lot about the Univolt converter. Most of it negative. Is the Litton Triad-Utrad the same thing. I've seen these units in Travel Trailers built in the late 80's.

Yep! See photo below. Also check out the first photo in http://www.airforums.com/forums/f449...0-a-57567.html for a view of the whole thing. Even if it is still working, there are many compelling reasons to update.
