Univolt??

I recently purchased a 1983 Excella and cannot get the AC power to work. I can hear the humming when plugged into the AC power. I can't find where the inverter is. Does anyone know..

We have a 1987 Sovereign and ours is under the couch at the front of the trailer. Do you mean a converter charger instead of an inverter.

Often the Univolt is behind the gaucho. The older ones do hum. The fact that you can hear it humming suggest that you are getting ac power to at least that circuit.

Same thing p4. Several companies made the Univolt for Airstream over the years but its still a DC power supply (converter)
