Triad Utrad TU 750-6 Converter

I just unearthed my poorly functioning power converter and discovered it to be a Triad Utrad TU 750-6 Converter. An internet search seems to indicate that the company is no longer in existence. Some one had wired in a small battery charger with a switch to turn it and the converter on and off. It never kept the battery charged. Based on a previous thread, I bought a Progressive Dynamics PD 4655V 55 amp power converter which is sold as a replacement/upgrade for the following: Parallax/Magnatek model 6355, Parallax models 7355 and 7155, and WFCO model 8955. So, a couple of questions: Will this unit successfully replace the Triad unit, and if not, what will. I haven't monkey with the new unit, so it is returnable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should be good to go. I suggest you also buy the Progressive Wizard Monitor. That will let you know just what is going on with the charger and manager the charging rate.
